He went on to complete residency training in orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, before pursuing advanced fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
During his fellowship at The University of Utah, Dr. Holliday gained extensive experience caring for elite athletes while serving as an assistant team physician for the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth. He also continues to serve as an associate team physician for Team USA Ski & Snowboard, providing orthopedic care for some of the nation's top winter athletes as they train and compete around the world.
Dr. Holliday chose orthopedic surgery because it offers the opportunity to make a meaningful and immediate difference in patients' lives. As a former collegiate athlete and lifelong outdoor enthusiast, he understands how pain and injury can affect every aspect of daily life, from work and family responsibilities to sports and recreation. He believes exceptional orthopedic care begins with listening carefully, understanding each patient's goals, and developing a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. Whether treatment involves rehabilitation, injections, activity modification, or surgery, Dr. Holliday is committed to helping patients understand their options and achieve the best possible outcome.
Outside of work, Dr. Holliday enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Audrey, and their two young children. The family enjoys boating, fishing, swimming, and exploring the area’s lakes.
