Dr. Charles Holliday Featured by Becker’s Spine Review
Heartland Orthopedic Specialists is proud to share that fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon Charles L. Holliday, M.D., was recently featured by Becker’s Spine Review in an article exploring the value of providing comprehensive orthopedic care in an era of increasing specialization.
In the feature, Dr. Holliday discusses his decision to bring his advanced training and broad orthopedic experience to the Alexandria community. After completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Utah, Dr. Holliday joined Heartland Orthopedic Specialists, where he provides care for a wide range of orthopedic needs, including sports injuries, cartilage restoration, fracture care, and joint replacement.
Dr. Holliday also shares why practicing in a regional community was important to him, including the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with his patients while bringing specialized techniques and experience from leading academic medical centers to patients closer to home.
Looking toward the future of orthopedic care, Dr. Holliday discusses his interest in joint preservation and emerging approaches designed to restore damaged tissue and help patients maintain their natural joints whenever possible. Above all, he hopes to build long-term relationships with the patients and families he serves throughout the region.
