Heartland Orthopedic Specialists Hosting 13th Annual Ortho Night Out May 21
Heartland Orthopedic Specialists invites the community to its 13th annual Ortho Night Out on Wednesday, May 21, at the Broadway Ballroom at 115 30th Ave. E. This free event will feature three board-certified surgeons from the practice discussing knee, shoulder and hip pain and the latest surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. Attendees will gain insights from Heartland Orthopedic Specialists’ experts into innovative technologies, like the Mako SmartRobotics™ system, and discover practical ways to improve their overall quality of life. The topics for the event are scheduled as follows:
- Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dennis Weigel will speak on Mako robotic-arm assisted joint replacement.
- Board-certified orthopedic sports medicine surgeon Dr. Eric Nelson will speak on shoulder conditions and treatment options.
- Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Nelson will speak on direct anterior hip replacement, a less invasive alternative to traditional hip replacement.
