Dr. Brand and Rich Hardy, ATCs Published for Their Research Study on Energy Drink Consumption

Dr. Jefferson Brand and Richard (Rich) Hardy, certified athletic trainer and research coordinator, were published again—this time in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior for their research study, "Relationship Between Energy Drink Consumption and Nutrition Knowledge in Student-Athletes." This research study was conducted by utilizing a cross-sectional survey designed to determine the relationship between energy drink consumption and nutrition knowledge in student athletes.

Jefferson C. Brand, M.D. and Rich Hardy, Ed.D., A.T.C., research investigation titled “Relationship Between Energy Drink Consumption and Nutrition Knowledge in Student-Athletes” published in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior was among the most read articles in the journal. The article received 537 requests for the full-text article. The Most Read articles are compiled quarterly, and these results are for the fourth quarter of 2016.
