As we continue to react to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to providing orthopedic care to the community while also keeping our patients and staff safe.

Over the past several weeks, the volume of people needing care for both COVID and non-COVID healthcare concerns has escalated and become extremely high.

Hospitals across the state and region are working tirelessly to coordinate care and transfers of patients amongst facilities due to constraints on bed capacity and staff. The high census of patients throughout the state of Minnesota is unfortunately affecting our ability to provide surgical care at our normal capacity.

Our teams at both Heartland Orthopedic Specialists and Alomere Health are continuously adjusting and making decisions to prioritize care for the most critical patients so every patient has a safe and high-quality healthcare experience. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but are working diligently to get surgeries rescheduled as soon as possible.

In the interim, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for any questions you have, either by phone at (320) 762-1144 or MyChart, as our entire team of staff and our surgeons are here to help where we can during this waiting period.
