The organization, which meets biannually, is an elite nonprofit corporation that oversees the design and implementation of podiatric licensing examinations to prove competency and uphold standards for podiatric medicine.
"As a podiatric surgeon, I believe it's important to be involved in and contribute to efforts that promote the advancement and continual progress of medical care," said Dr. Sticha. While he is now retired from the NBPME, Dr. Sticha remains active on the American Board of Podiatric Surgery as an oral examiner, a member of the Credentials Committee, and a member of the Board of Directors, among other professional appointments.
