Nate graduated from Bemidji State University in 2010 with his degree in Exercise Science, after which he obtained his Certification as a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
While attending school at Bemidji State Nate participated in a sports performance internship, where he worked with the Sioux Falls Stampede, young hockey athletes and their baseball program. He was also a member of the Bemidji State baseball team for 1.5 years.
Nate is one of our instructors for the PEAK Performance program which focuses on enhancing athlete development and injury prevention. This is accomplished by concentrating on speed improvement, strength, endurance, agility, and overall athletic performance.
Nate’s training philosophy is to train from the ground up and to make sure that the athlete is mechanically taught correctly, understands the movement and is confident before moving on.
Nate’s certifications include: Certified Personal Trainer and American Heart Association CPR.
In his free time Nate enjoys hunting, fishing, recreation sports, playing baseball in the summer and spending time with his wife and best hunting buddy Zeus.
