My Comeback Story: Karen A.
My New Hip
I had been having hip & groin pain for probably 5 years before surgery. Towards the last few months before my surgery, I couldn’t play pickleball without having pain for the next 2 days and it even hurt to go for walks. So I finally decided to take action to get better. My surgery was in October and at four weeks I was walking pretty well again. Unfortunately I tried doing too much, so had a few weeks setback, but at 8 weeks (January) I was able to start playing pickleball again. I did have another setback in February as my body was still healing, but by March my hip was feeling amazing! I’m totally back to doing all my regular activities without pain. It’s not easy going through the process but such a wonderful outcome on the other side!
