My Comeback Story: Jennifer C.

I have been a hair stylist for 38 years, and at 56 years old I had a partial knee replacement (robotic) done by Dr. Weigel. Everything went great and still is. Amazingly, I was able to return to work part-time just three weeks post-op.

At 57, I had a total knee replacement (robotic) done by Dr. Emily Monroe. Again, everything went great and still is. I took five weeks off, returned part-time for two weeks, and then went back to full-time work.

I know not everyone has the same results, but I followed all pre- and post-operative instructions and completed two months of physical therapy both times. It’s been two years since the partial replacement and one year since the total replacement, and I have never regretted having them done.

I cannot say enough good things about these two doctors (Dr. Monroe is my doctor) and about Heartland Orthopedic Specialists and Alomere Health. I’ve had so many people ask where and by whom my surgeries were done, and I refer every one of them to Heartland Orthopedic Specialists. Those who have seen a doctor there have been very pleased.
